Terms of Use
Version 1.4
Effective date: June 2026
1. About mumafrica
mumafrica is a B2B trade discovery platform that connects global buyers with verified suppliers and AI-discovered businesses from around the world. Our mission is to simplify international trade by surfacing supplier information, reducing friction in sourcing, and giving buyers a head start on their procurement journey.
mumafrica is a discovery and connection platform only. We do not facilitate payments, hold inventory, guarantee transactions, or act as an intermediary or party in any commercial agreement between buyers and suppliers.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using mumafrica — whether as a guest, registered buyer, or verified supplier — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and mumafrica regarding your use of the platform and supersede all prior communications, representations, or agreements whether written or oral.
These Terms apply to all users of mumafrica regardless of location, account type, or payment status.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use mumafrica. By using the platform you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements on behalf of yourself or your organization.
3. Verified Members
Verified Members are suppliers who have registered on mumafrica, agreed to our Terms, and submitted their business information for display on the platform. Verified profiles include company name, country, product categories, contact details, and a brief company description.
By registering as a Verified Member, suppliers explicitly consent to the storage and public display of their submitted data on mumafrica for the purpose of buyer discovery.
mumafrica reserves the right to remove, suspend, or permanently ban any Verified Member profile at its sole discretion, including but not limited to cases where the member:
- Violates these Terms of Use
- Provides false, misleading, or inaccurate information
- Receives consistent and verified buyer complaints
- Engages in fraudulent or unethical business practices
- Fails to maintain an active and accurate profile
Removal or suspension does not entitle the member to any refund of fees paid.
4. AI Discovered Suppliers
AI Discovered Suppliers are businesses whose publicly available information is indexed, aggregated, and displayed by mumafrica's AI search technology from the open web. These businesses are not registered with mumafrica. mumafrica claims no relationship, partnership, endorsement, or affiliation with any AI Discovered Supplier.
Information shown for AI Discovered Suppliers — including but not limited to company name, website, email address, and phone number — originates from publicly accessible sources at the time of the search query. This information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. mumafrica does not verify the accuracy, legitimacy, reliability, or currency of any AI Discovered result.
Users who contact or transact with AI Discovered Suppliers do so entirely at their own risk. mumafrica accepts no responsibility for the outcome of any interaction with an AI Discovered Supplier.
5. AI Discovered Data, Storage & Opt-Out
mumafrica indexes, aggregates, and displays publicly available business information using automated AI search technology. We do not claim ownership of this information. All data surfaced through AI Discovery originates from publicly accessible sources on the open web and is retrieved at the time of the user's search query. Our processing of this publicly available commercial data is grounded in our legitimate business interest in facilitating international trade.
mumafrica's AI Discovery does not target or systematically extract data from any single source. Results are assembled from multiple publicly available web sources at the point of search and are subject to change without notice.
For free users: AI Discovered results are generated in real time and are not retained after the search session ends.
For paid users: AI Discovered results may be temporarily cached solely to enable premium features such as saved searches, RFQ submissions, and enhanced data access. This cached data is used exclusively to deliver the requested service to the user and is not sold, shared, or redistributed to any third party under any circumstances.
Verified Member data is stored solely for the purpose of displaying their profile on mumafrica and facilitating buyer discovery. We do not sell, share, or redistribute Verified Member data to third parties.
Business Opt-Out:
Any business wishing to be excluded from AI Discovery results on mumafrica may submit a removal request to info@mumafrica.com including their company name and primary website domain. Upon receipt of a valid request:
- The business domain will be added to our suppression list within 30 days.
- mumafrica will take reasonable technical steps to ensure the specific business domain does not appear in future AI Discovery results.
- A confirmation will be sent to the requesting party upon completion.
mumafrica cannot guarantee permanent or complete exclusion across the open web, as business information may still appear through indirect public sources, third-party directories, or variant text strings not explicitly specified in the opt-out request. However, we commit to making reasonable and ongoing efforts to honor all valid opt-out requests.
6. Paid Services & Financial Terms
mumafrica offers both free and paid services. Paid services may include but are not limited to subscription plans, Request for Quote (RFQ) submission and response features, enhanced profile visibility, and premium access to AI Discovered data.
Payment & Renewal:
Payment for any mumafrica service grants access to the specific features described at the time of purchase only. It does not create any guarantee of results, transactions, leads, or commercial outcomes.
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date through your account billing settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle.
mumafrica reserves the right to change pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be given at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before their next renewal date.
Refund & Chargeback Policy:
All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise explicitly stated in writing at the time of purchase. mumafrica may at its sole discretion offer refunds or credits in exceptional circumstances.
Chargeback Protection: Any fraudulent, unauthorized, or bad-faith chargebacks or payment disputes initiated by a user through their bank or credit card issuer will result in immediate and permanent account termination, a permanent ban from the platform, and the forfeiture of any remaining subscription time without liability to mumafrica.
7. Buyer Responsibility
Buyers using mumafrica — whether on free or paid plans — do so entirely at their own discretion and risk. mumafrica is not responsible for the outcome of any communication, negotiation, agreement, or transaction between a buyer and any supplier found through our platform whether Verified or AI Discovered.
We strongly encourage all buyers to:
- Independently verify company credentials and business registration.
- Request certifications, licenses, and export documentation.
- Use secure and fully traceable payment methods.
- Conduct thorough due diligence before entering any commercial agreement.
- Never transfer funds to a supplier without independent verification.
mumafrica provides discovery tools only. The full responsibility for verifying, contacting, and transacting with any supplier rests entirely with the buyer.

- Not misrepresent your products, services, certifications, or business capabilities.
- Not contact buyers outside the scope of legitimate trade enquiries.
- Immediately notify mumafrica of any material change to your business status including insolvency, legal proceedings, or change of ownership.
Failure to comply with any of the above may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform without notice or refund.

mumafrica reserves the right to block, suspend, or permanently ban any user found in violation of these Terms without notice or refund and to report such activity to relevant authorities where appropriate.
10. Regional Restrictions & Compliance
mumafrica is not available in certain regions due to international trade regulations, economic sanctions, and applicable laws. Users attempting to access the platform from restricted regions will receive a service unavailable notice. mumafrica does not publicly disclose which specific regions are restricted and reserves the right to update regional restrictions at any time without notice.
Users are entirely responsible for ensuring their use of the platform complies with their local laws and trade sanctions. If a user bypasses regional restrictions (including, but not limited to, via VPN or proxy tools) and their account is subsequently terminated or blocked for geolocation compliance failures, mumafrica accepts no liability and no refunds will be issued.
11. Account Termination
mumafrica reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account at its sole discretion at any time and for any reason including but not limited to violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or extended inactivity without notice.
Users may terminate their own account at any time by contacting us at info@mumafrica.com. Termination of an account does not entitle the user to any refund of fees paid.
mumafrica also reserves the right to discontinue, modify, or shut down the platform or any part of it at any time without notice or liability to any user.
12. Third Party Content & Links
mumafrica's AI Discovery feature indexes and displays information from third party websites and publicly available sources on the open web. mumafrica does not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for any third party content, websites, or businesses referenced in AI Discovered results.
Any references to third party websites are provided for informational purposes only. Accessing third party websites through mumafrica is done entirely at your own risk. mumafrica is not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of any third party website.
13. Intellectual Property
All content, design, technology, algorithms, branding, trademarks, and features on mumafrica are the exclusive property of mumafrica and its founders. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without prior written permission from mumafrica.

By submitting content to mumafrica you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote that content on the platform for the purpose of facilitating trade discovery.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless mumafrica, its founders, officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of the platform in any capacity.

- Any transaction, dispute, or legal action between you and another user, buyer, or supplier.

This indemnification obligation survives termination of your account and your discontinuation of use of the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, mumafrica, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any claim, loss, damage, or expense of any kind — direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive — arising out of or relating to your use of the platform including but not limited to:
- Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated supplier or buyer information.

19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use, and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter, interpretation, execution, or formation, shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Step 1 — Amicable Negotiation:
In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the parties agree to first attempt an amicable resolution through good-faith written negotiation for a continuous period of 30 days from the date the dispute is formally raised in writing to info@mumafrica.com.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through amicable negotiation within the 30-day period, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) in accordance with its Arbitration Rules in force at the time of the dispute.

- The seat and physical venue of the arbitration shall be Cairo, Egypt.
- The language of the arbitration proceedings shall be English.

20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent. If modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed from these Terms, and the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
21. No Waiver
Failure by mumafrica to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or future enforcement of that provision. Any waiver of a specific breach or default shall not be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach or default of the same or any other nature.
22. Changes to These Terms
mumafrica reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify Verified Members and registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect and post the updated version on this page with a revised effective date and version number.
